What is TransFS

TransFS is a comparison shopping website for credit card processing. TransFS was founded by business owners, and we know that many business owners prefer to shop for financial products on their own terms, rather than on the terms of a pushy salesperson.

TransFS helps your company save time and money by running an instant reverse auction where you enter a small amount of anonymous information about your business and what you are looking for. Credit card processors then respond with binding bids to provide their service to you. Our software helps you organize the bids and choose the best one for your business.  Our service is free to the business owner and the business owner has no obligation to choose a bidder.

• TransFS was founded in 2008 by Co-Founders Sean Harper and Josh Krall (more information on the company and founders)
• TransFS is located in downtown Chicago at 200 S Wacker Drive, right across from the Sears Tower
• The Co-Founders of TransFS met while in graduate school at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, one of the nation’s top-5 business schools
• The Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Chicago provided some seed funding and incubated TransFS in our early days
• Chicagoland Entrepreneurial Center provided some seed funding in the form of matching grants and their EIR program
